Losing Business Passion vs. Friends

Have you tried to be on my shoes? I mean being this office girl waking up early to catch with my 8:00am call time at work and dying tired during 5:00pm. But before it happens, I studied my 4 years course of Business Administration and pursue my MBA while working . It feels like i need to get there so fast that I need to rush things up. "Is business really for me?" I mean it seems like I'm starting to live my world with business matters without knowing if I'm happy doing it. Yah, boredom consumed me and I'm so suffocated with all of these.

I have this trusted friend named Calvin who encouraged me to watch movies with business environment for me to regain my passion. So I started to watch The Wolf of Wall Street. It is basically all about a Stock Broker who became so rich and later on committed fraud that turned his life upside down. I'm so amused with the fact that they don't have work ethics in doing their jobs but they do it with the most comfortable way of doing it. It is also very inspiring to see how he started with selling Petty Stocks then later on succeeded in penetrating the 1% wealthiest of America. But the worst part is how greed ruin his life turning heaven into hell. At the end learned how to sell things that will never be bought by money. Teaching and inspiring people to become rich and wiser than he is.

For me, The Wolf of Wall Street is all about your patience when you have nothing and your attitude when you have everything. It's all about friends, family and money. So what's the co-relation of this movie with my losing passion in business world? Somehow, this movie affects my perception. To trust myself and to choose people around you. I don't literally mean to push the wrong one away from you. But to know who you really trust. Sometimes the more you trust people, it is more confusing to deal with your personal life. True friends are not the one who stayed the most but the one who is willing to lift you up without any expectations in return. The one who is willing to guide you when you are lost and who will stay with you when you have nothing to give. Business world is like hell having people with  two faces so think before you trust because they can make or break you.
